It was a render from Apophysis, (apophysis is a fractal generator, but my fractals never look like traditional fractals)

I rendered it from apophysis, and... I'll just tell you what all the layers where and what they did.

1) black to white gradient

2) render blurred with the bottom part cut out

3) render with a filter/sharpen/sharpen more with the blending style set to overlay

4) black spot in the same area as where I removed part of the render from layer 2. set to overlay with fill set to 50%

5) render set to hard light

6-8) white spots set to overlay to accentuate different parts of the render (layer 6 has opacity set to 50%)

7) bottom two layers merged set to hard light, with a gradient layer mask (white on top, black on bottom) (heres a picture of that layer, just to clear things up [link])

8-9) white bending lines on the sides, set to overlay with a 1px black overlayed stroke

10-17) text copied at low opacity set to overlay (its really hard to see on the deviation, look under and to the right of the visible text)

18) black easily visible text, set to overlay with an opacity of 50%, and a white outer glow.

19-20) border

21) color balance layer

ok, thats probably really confusing, but if yuo need help, just send me a note.
