Frozen Nova by BordomBeThyName Frozen Nova by BordomBeThyName
Untitled 2 ([link]) wasnt that great, so I took the render and tried again, I think I did better this time.

I was looking at it, and it definitely looks like an explosion, but I've been into blue tones lately, and its really hot over here, so something cold sounded good :D

If you dont full view it will look blurry!!!

How do you make something like this?

also, when you get to rendering, be sure to render as a .png instead of a .jpg, and be sure to make the render oversized (ex: my renders range from 1600x1200 to 4000x3000, but all of my deviations are 1280x1024) if you oversize it, it really helps get rid of noise, aliasing, and pixelation.

first you get apophysis, then you get good (or at least compitent, I dont consider myself to be very good) at fractal making. Once you've gotten fractal making down, you render your favorite fractal, and put it into photoshop. Once in PS, you just duplicate layers, and apply filters and blending styles with a color balance layer to top it off. Its really not as amazing as it looks.
