Artist's Comments

I'm undecided on this one, it's definitely missing something, or maybe it has too much of something. Any suggestions?

Also available in 1680 x 1050 widescreen in my gallery.

EDIT - 11/15/08

Thank you SO MUCH to *Druology for suggesting and ^Sophquest for featuring this as a Daily Deviation, it really mean a lot to me, and this is now the 3rd most popular Fractal Wallpaper on DA... WOW. More thanks to all of you who faved, I couldn't go around and thank you all, but you are all appreciated. :)

I suppose I should shamelessly advertise myself now...
If you liked this, there's tons more in my gallery! Check it out! :D

The suggester writes: "Once I saw Dive In in full view, I realized it was an amazing fractal! I love the colors and the waves. It's a great Apophysis 2.08b render... the quality is amazing." ~ And I couldn't agree more. Check out this gorgeous piece by ~BordomBeThyName, it makes an incredible desktop! This is just fine.
It seems to be fractal, but it also looks like it's created in 3D. I think it is hard to achieve even this effect. You should be proud, but of course, there's nothing better than trying to improve something. But I definitely don't see something missing or too much of something either. Just keep up the good work =)

OMG! the fractal gallery director likes my work :faint:.
This is actually really exciting... Thanks!

Yeah, I made it in Apophysis 2.08b, with a considerable amount of editing in Photoshop (which is why I'm kind of hesitant to call it a fractal, kind of like calling a manipulation a photo... its weird...)

Thanks for the comment and :+fav: :D

Umm, Awesome!

The detail is stunning. And the bit of glow in the center, mixed with the waves around it really catches your eyes. ;)

Way to go! And congrats on the DD! :D
